(CABA) Un fuerte olor nauseabundo se sentía la mañana de este viernes en los barrios del sur de la ciudad. Vecinos de los barrios de Barracas, Boedo, Nueva Pompeya, Parque Patricios e incluso Flores y San Cristóbal advirtieron a Defensa Civil del gobierno porteño, que ya envió un móvil a la zona del Riachuelo, donde el olor es más concentrado.

Las autoridades reportaron que están “verificando” cuál podría ser la causa del tufo, que algunos describieron como “queso podrido”, “pis de perro” o “a muerto”. Desde Emergencias BA, indicaron que el olor podría venir desde una jabonera ubicada en Valentín Alsina aunque no especificaron los motivos.
En relación al intenso olor registrado en diversos barrios de CABA, se informa que el mismo provendría de una jabonera ubicada en Valentín Alsina.

Raúl Garnica, director de defensa Civil de la Ciudad, confirmó que trabajan para establecer la causa del olor. “Aparentemente no es un olor que vaya a perjudicar inmediatamente a la población”, explicó el funcionario.
Según algunas versiones, la pestilencia podría provenir también del ácido sulfhídrico que se desprende del Riachuelo, resultante de los vertidos químicos generados por empresas industriales.
