(PBA) Desde el sábado por la noche se registra un importante corte de luz en La Plata por la falla de un cable subterráneo de alta tensión, lo que afecta principalmente a la zona norte de la ciudad. En diálogo con TN Carolina Ortiz, vocera de Edelap, la empresa que brinda el servicio eléctrico, indicó que el corte afecta al 6% de los usuarios (18 mil en total) y explicó que tardarán al menos tres días en arreglar el inconveniente. Aclaró que a partir del mediodía de este lunes se restituirá el servicio a la mayor parte de los usuarios, a través de grupos electrógenos.

En la previa el intendente Julio Garro convocó a directivos de la compañía, que presentaron un informe ante el municipio en el que comunicaron que instalarían siete nodos compuestos por 35 generadores de media tensión, hasta que se restablezca completamente el servicio. Estos generadores estarán disponibles al menos por una semana, hasta que se garantice la normalización y estabilidad del sistema de distribución de energía eléctrica.
La vocera de Edelap explicó que el corte empezó el sábado a las 21.57 por una falla en el cable de alimentación en la subestación City Bell. Dijo que en principio se hicieron transferencias para restituir el servicio al 60% de los usuarios afectados y que contrataron grupos electrógenos que trajeron desde Rosario, que tienen el tamaño de un container, para asistir a los clientes que todavía están sin luz.
La vocera de empresa suministradora de energía eléctrica dijo que desde la compañía tomaron «todas las medidas para generar mayor distribución» ante el corte y adelantó que habrá resarcimientos para los usuarios afectados por la interrupción del servicio. No dio mayores detalles porque explicó que estas medidas serán definidas por el ente regulador.
En relación a la falla que provocó el apagón explicó que harán peritajes para determinar las causas del inconveniente y que en paralelo habrá un análisis de terceros. «Sabemos dónde está la falla y dónde será la reparación, que llevará al menos tres días», dijo la vocera de Edelap.
