El 25 de Mayo la Plaza Primera Junta cumplió 111 años ya que fue inaugurada ese día en el año 1908, con un importante acto. A tal efecto y para conmemorar aquel evento se acuñó una medalla. Con esta inauguración, Caballito tuvo su primera plaza, aunque el triángulo formado por Rivadavia Norte, Rivadavia Sur y Del Barco Centenera ya era un espacio público durante el siglo XIX.
Conocida también como Plazoleta del Caballito, en noviembre de 1893 se oficializa su nombre, sin embargo no fue inaugurada hasta 15 años más tarde, el 25 de mayo de 1908.

El acceso a la Estación Primera Junta de la Línea A de Subterráneo inaugurada el 14 de julio de 1914.
Ermita de Virgen de Luján, inaugura el 15 de junio de 1987.
Monumento a Azcuénaga, obra del escultor francés Enrique Cordier, inaugurado el 31 de diciembre de 1910.
Feria de Libros, se instala en el año 1976.
Totem Homenaje a las Islas Malvinas, inaugurado el 28 de septiembre de 2016.
Homenaje a Oscar Casco. La placa se colocó el 6 de agosto de 1998.
Mástil: Inaugurado el 10 de noviembre de 1969
Veleta de Caballito: Inaugurada en 1969, retirada en el año 2009, se la volvió a colocar el 12 de noviembre de 2016.
Caballito, escultura realizada por Darío Klehr. Inaugurada en mayo de 2014.
Se acaba de colocar en la Plaza Primera Junta una nueva Estación de Ecobici.
