Luego de que 300.000 usuarios de Capital Federal y el Gran Buenos Aires se quedaran sin servicio eléctrico por un corte generalizado esta tarde, el regulador estudia la posibilidad de tomar acción con las distribuidoras Edenor y Edesur.
Desde el Ente Nacional Regulador de Electricidad (ENRE) comunicaron que llevan adelante un seguimiento de “la evolución de la restitución del servicio” y que van a evaluar” a posteriori si corresponde aplicar alguna multa a las distribuidoras”. Luego de aproximadamente una hora de corte en el servicio, desde Edenor informaron que se había normalizado el suministro al 90% de los clientes afectados.
En esa línea, desde el ENRE expresaron que, de ser necesarias, “las multas se determinan en función de la frecuencia de la interrupción del servicio a lo largo de los meses restando los casos “fortuitos””. Para el ente regulatorio del mercado eléctrico, dicha calificación “no está determinado aún para este caso”.
El corte de luz, que afectó a cientos de miles de usuarios y duró cerca de una hora, inicialmente fue causado por un incendio en la subestación Morón de Edenor. En el caso de Edesur, desde la empresa expresaron: “Una falla externa a nuestra red afecta el suministro eléctrico de Villa del Parque, Devoto, Villa Crespo, Santa Rita, Caballito y Almagro”.
Entre los barrios más afectados, además de los mencionados, también figuran Floresta, La Paternal, Belgrano, Chacarita, Coghlan, Colegiales, Núñez y Palermo.
Mientras tanto, las localidades bonaerenses que se vieron más afectadas fueron Almirante Brown, Presidente Perón, Lomas de Zamora, Esteban Echeverría, José C. Paz, Pilar, Tigre, La Matanza.
El incidente también afectó a una parte importante del sistema de transporte público, actualmente encontrándose interrumpidos los servicios de la línea B de subte, y el tren Sarmiento, pero en un punto el impacto alcanzó al ramal ferroviario Urquiza y las líneas C y D del subterráneo.
