La institución cuanta con pacientes que reciben 150 transfusiones por semana. Se necesitan todos los grupos y factores de sangre pero especialmente de los tipos 0+ y 0-.

El Banco de Sangre está ubicado en la calle 15 de noviembre de 1889 Nº 2151 (CABA).
Todo el proceso de donación dura aproximadamente 60 minutos.
Para donar es necesario pesar más de 50 kilos, tener entre 18 y 65 años, gozar de buena salud, no haber padecido enfermedades infectocontagiosas ni estar en riesgo de adquirirlas.
