La ciudad de Buenos Aires y el conurbano bonaerense sufren desde ayer una intensa ola de calor que promete mantenerse por lo menos hasta mañana a última hora. Y como si esto no fuera suficiente, a las elevadas temperaturas hay que sumarle que muchos hogares padecen cortes de luz. Según el Ente Nacional Regulador de la Electricidad (ENRE), hay reportados en el Área Metropolitana más de 60.000 usuarios sin el servicio.
Pasadas las 14, la sensación termicá alcanzó los 44.9 grados. La empresa Edesur contabilizaba 52.551 hogares sin luz, mientras que los de Edenor ascendían a 24.790. En la Capital Federal, los barrios afectados son: Almagro, Caballito, Mataderos, San Cristóbal, Versalles, Villa Crespo, Lugano, Agronomía, Palermo, Recoleta, San Telmo y Villa Urquiza.
En cuanto al Gran Buenos Aires, el ENRE reporta que las localidades que más sufren la falta de luz son Almirante Brown, Berazategui, San Isidro, Lanús, Avellaneda, Esteban Echeverría, Lomas de Zamora, Quilmes, Escobar, Pilar, General Rodríguez, La Matanza, Merlo y Vicente López.
El lunes fue un día muy difícil para los usuarios: en medio del calor, la empresa Edesur registró poco más de 200.000 hogares con fallas en el suministro de electricidad, mientras que Edenor reportó casi 189.000.
De acuerdo con el Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN), el pronóstico para hoy no es nada alentador: se espera una máxima de 37 grados y una sensación térmica de 45. El jueves, en tanto, sería el día en que algo de alivio finalmente llegue a Capital Federal y sus alrededores: habría cielo parcialmente nublado o nublado, vientos moderados del sector oeste, rotando al sector sur y luego al este, con tiempo inestable por la tarde y temperaturas que irán de los 22 a los 27 grados.
