(PBA) La Escuela Preuniversitaria Ramón Cereijo, de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), será la primera institución pública del Distrito Boero, un nuevo barrio de la periferia de Escobar en el que convivirán desarrollos inmobiliarios y el Polo Judicial, que reunirá juzgados de familia y civiles.
En una superficie de algo más de 5000 metros cuadrados, casi de tamaño similar a la Escuela de Comercio Carlos Pellegrini, también dependiente de la UBA, se levantarán cuatro tipos de espacios en módulos entre planta baja y planta alta. Abrirá sus puertas en marzo próximo, cuando empiecen las clases de primer año, que tendrá dos orientaciones: Ciencias Naturales y Medioambientales y Diseño Multimedial.
El terreno que da sobre la calle Cervantes, entre Belén y Sanguinetti, ya está nivelado y cercado. Se está montando el obrador y los operarios comenzaron las tareas preliminares de la construcción. La zona enfrentará fuertes cambios en los próximos meses porque, entre otras obras de infraestructura, se creará un bulevar sobre la calle de acceso a la escuela y se asfaltarán las arterias circundantes. “Incluidos la escuela, el pavimento, los desagües pluviales y la iluminación del área se invertirán casi 200 millones de pesos”, explicó a La Nación el secretario de Infraestructura de Escobar, Diego Benítez.

Mientras los 522 aspirantes cumplen el curso de ingreso los sábados en otra institución educativa de Maschwitz, con los mismos parámetros del Pellegrini y del Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires, Leandro Rodríguez, el rector del Cereijo, ya trabaja en la organización del primer ciclo lectivo. “El colegio tendrá lugar para 720 alumnos en total, entre primero y sexto año. En marzo próximo, los 120 estudiantes que aprueben el ingreso empezarán sus clases en la nueva escuela; a mediados de 2020 estará listo 100%“, anticipó Rodríguez, que dirigió el Pellegrini hasta el mes pasado, y en esta gestión está acompañado por Victoria Serruya, vicerrectora y coordinadora del curso de ingreso.
“El 80% de los ingresantes lo harán por orden de mérito y el 20% restante, por sorteo. Tendrán que tener el curso aprobado con más de 180 puntos y más de 80% de asistencia”, amplió Rodríguez. Contó que unos 400 chicos provienen de escuelas de gestión privada de la zona y otros 120 de gestión pública. Además del curso de ingreso que se dicta los sábados, desde el mes próximo habrá cursos de apoyo en las dos materias -Lengua y Matemática-. Los aspirantes tendrán a lo largo del año seis exámenes, tres por cada asignatura.
La quinta Escuela Preuniversitaria de la UBA será la primera fuera de la Capital y la más moderna de las instituciones educativas de la provincia. Además de las 21 aulas, contará con huerta, laboratorios de Física, Química y Biología; aulas talleres para Música y Plástica; microestadio de usos múltiples con vestuarios, comedor y biblioteca parlante. Los alumnos de la Cereijo practicarán fútbol, voley, básquet o hockey, como lo hacen los estudiantes de las otras cuatro escuelas de la UBA [el Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires, el Pellegrini, la agrotécnica y la técnica].
La maqueta exhibida en la municipalidad de Escobar anticipa que el edificio también tendrá “techo verde” y probablemente paneles solares. “De los tres proyectos que se presentaron al concurso para construir la escuela, ganó el diseño más flexible y moderno”, sumó Benítez, al aclarar que no está contemplada en la obra ya aprobada la instalación de paneles solares como se ve en la maqueta.

De todos modos, Rodríguez admite que espera que esa escuela no solo pueda contar con ese sistema de energía en el futuro, “sino también poder llegar a venderle el sobrante de energía” a la empresa que brinda ese servicio en Escobar.
Si bien la escuela será gratuita, se paga un bono contribución anual no obligatorio como sucede con las otras instituciones secundarias de la UBA. Para este año, el bono de la escuela Cereijo es de $7500. Algo más bajo que el fijado para el Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires, $9900 en un pago o $12.000 si se opta por abonarlo en cuotas. “En caso de que un alumno no puede afrontar el bono, puede pedir la eximición del pago y se lo auxiliará en los materiales didácticos que necesite para hacer el curso”, aclaró Rodríguez.
Luego de las vacaciones de invierno, comenzará la selección de profesores para el primer ciclo lectivo. “Hay mucho interés de los docentes de la UBA de sumarse a la escuela Cereijo, recibo al menos un mensaje de WhatsApp por día haciéndome consultas”, añadió el rector. NR
