(PBA) Entre noviembre del año pasado y febrero del 2019 detectaron que 22 policías de la Bonaerense estaban bajo los efectos de drogas prohibidas mientras estaban en servicio, de un total de 723 casos. Los alarmantes resultados surgen de exámenes sorpresivos realizados por la Auditoría General de Asuntos Internos de la fuerza.
Las pruebas se hicieron en 14 dependencias de La Plata, Avellaneda y Quilmes, a partir de denuncias. Del total de agentes a los que se les detectó la ingesta de sustancias prohibidas 12 habían consumido cocaína, ocho marihuana y dos, psicofármacos.

Cuando se detecta que un policía de la fuerza consumió sustancias prohibidas se le abre una carpeta médica y se los licencia. Además deben entregar su arma reglamentaria y empezar con un tratamiento de rehabilitación.
En el caso de que se trate de efectivos que integran equipos de lucha contra el narcotráfico se los deriva a otras áreas, previa rehabilitación.
La realización de análisis toxicológicos a los policías de la fuerza fue anunciada por el ministro de Seguridad Cristian Ritondo en junio de 2017, estudios que empezarían con los altos mandos de la fuerza.

El auditor general de Asuntos Internos de la fuerza Guillermo Berra explicó que las pruebas se hicieron en las dependencias de las que se habían concentrado denuncias y sumarios. “El hecho de encontrar estos resultados positivos no me llama la atención”, dijo el funcionario en diálogo con La Nación. Aunque aclaró: “Este resultado no se puede extrapolar a toda la policía, ya que quizá vamos a otras dependencias y nos da cero”.
Los policías a los que se les realizan las pruebas son seleccionados al azar y se le hacen las pruebas en las dependencias en las que trabajan. Para el examen se toma una muestra de saliva y, en el caso de que el resultado arroje positivo, se hace un nuevo examen con una muestra de orina. En estos casos no se aparta al efectivo de la fuerza, excepto que se detecte su participación en el narcotráfico. NR
