(CABA) La demanda para vacunarse contra la fiebre amarilla tuvo, en los primeros días de enero, un crecimiento exponencial. Debido a esto, la atención colapsó en la mayoría de los vacunatorios públicos habilitados para darla. En ningún centro de salud quedan turnos disponibles y en la Dirección de Sanidad de Fronteras, el único que atienden sin turno, hubo esta semana colas de más de un día. Para solucionar este problema, el Gobierno habilitó nuevos centros de vacunación, frente al creciente pedido de turistas que viajan en esta temporada de vacaciones a Brasil, donde existe posibilidad de infección.

La Secretaría de Salud de la Nación informó este jueves que incorporó a la red de vacunatorios de todo el país a tres de los principales centros privados: Stamboulian, Previvax y Vacunar. Ahora sólo se deberá abonar el costo de la aplicación, que es de unos 300 pesos, ya que la cartera sanitaria provee los insumos. En estos lugares también hay que sacar turno.
Desde Salud garantizaron la provisión de vacunas y recordaron la importancia de que sólo se inmunicen quienes viajen a zonas de riesgo o a países que exijan ese requisito sanitario. Debe aplicarse al menos 10 días antes de la fecha de partida y que una sola dosis resulta suficiente para toda la vida.
No obstante, Salud aconseja una consulta médica como mínimo cuatro semanas previas al viaje para que el profesional defina la indicación o no de la vacunación.

Para conocer los horarios de atención y los lugares de vacunación disponibles en las distintas jurisdicciones del país se debe ingresar al link https://www.argentina.gob.ar/salud/viajeros/vacunatoriosfiebreamarilla. En todos los casos, hay que presentar el documento nacional de identidad o el pasaporte, sin excepción.
La recomendación para vacunarse está dirigida especialmente a las personas que proyecten viajar a los estados brasileños de Paraná, Santa Catarina y Río Grande do Sul.
La excepción son algunos estados del nordeste brasileño, pero para el resto del territorio del país vecino continúa vigente la sugerencia. En el sitio www.argentina.gob.ar/fiebreamarilla/test figuran los países y zonas de riesgo de contagio.
Debido a la situación epidemiológica vigente, a quienes presenten alguna contraindicación de recibir la vacuna se aconseja evitar el viaje a las zonas con circulación viral activa. NR
