Mediante la resolución “Viejos Camaradas” firmada por el Ministerio de Justicia provincial, el SPB comunicó que los dos perros ovejeros alemanes y el labrador, de entre 10 y 11 años, dejaron de trabajar para la fuerza y “se fueron a vivir a las casas de sus guías, para pasar la última etapa de su vida en un ámbito familiar”.
Los flamantes jubilados prestaban servicio en la Dirección de Cinotecnia, un organismo en el que revisten 227 perros abocados a tareas de seguridad y búsquedas de estupefacientes, personas y explosivos. Los ovejeros “Tequila” y “Jack” y el labrador “Sunkay” fueron los tres primeros perros en jubilarse y ya viven con sus guías, los suboficiales Carlos Prelleza, Daniel Micono y Leandro Acosta, a quienes estuvieron asignados desde que nacieron. A cada uno de los perros le fue entregada una medalla. NR
