Otra vez el barrio porteño de Caballito fue escenario de un incendio en un edificio. El hecho se produjo esta noche y terminó con 40 personas trasladadas a distintos hospitales de la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
El fuego afectó al octavo piso del edificio de la calle Emilio Mitre 435 en su intersección con el Pasaje La Nave, y se trasladó a los pisos superiores, lo que obligó a sus habitantes a subir hacia la terraza, donde fueron asistidos por los bomberos y personal médico.
“Gracias a Dios no hubo víctimas fatales“, dijo el titular del SAME, Alberto Crescenti en diálogo con TN. Y describió: “Fue en un edificio de 22 pisos donde el fuego se originó en el octavo. Rápidamente después tomó el noveno y la gente se fue para la terraza”.
Luego detalló: “Tuvimos un total de 47 personas que fueron asistidas por inhalación de monóxido de carbono en el lugar. 40 de ellas, de las cuales 5 fueron menores, fueron derivadas a los hospitales Piñero, Tornú, Zubizarreta, Ramos Mejía, Durand, Pena y al Hospital de Niños”.
“Fue un trabajo muy arduo con casi 30 ambulancias y varias unidades de catástrofe que asistieron a todos los afectados”, finalizó.
Trabajaron en el lugar varias dotaciones de Bomberos y móviles policiales y el tránsito se encontraba interrumpido.
