El concierto para todo público tendrá lugar el viernes 15 de marzo a las 20.30 en el Anfiteatro del Parque Centenario (Av. Lillo y leopoldo Marechal).

La Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional fue creada en 1948 como Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado con el objetivo de promocionar a directores, compositores y ejecutantes argentinos y difundir los clásicos de la música en grandes y pequeños auditorios.
A lo largo de su historia, fue conducida por Roberto Kinsky, Juan José Castro, Víctor Tevah, Simón Blech, Teodoro Fuchs, Juan Carlos Zorzi, Jacques Bodmer, Bruno D’Astoli, Jorge Rotter y Jorge Fontenla, como directores titulares, y por personalidades de la talla de Erich Kleiber, Georg Solti, Ernest Ansermet, Igor Markevitch, Hermann Scherchen, Sergiu Celibidache, Rudolf Kempe, Antal Dorati, Malcolm Sargent, Hans Rosbaud, Jean Fournet, Igor Stravinsky, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Aram Katchaturian, Frank Martin, Pablo Casals, Zubin Metha y Charles Dutoit, como directores invitados, entre muchos otros.
