(CABA) Los metrodelegados se expresaron en contra de la utilización de las pistolas Taser en los subterráneos de Buenos Aires, como anunció el Gobierno porteño.
“Pensar en usar una pistola en el subte, eso espanta. Es un lugar saturado de gente donde cualquier acción de este tipo puede generar un hecho de caos dentro del subterráneo”, afirmó Roberto “Beto” Pianelli en AM 530.
El secretario general de la Asociación de Trabajadores del Subte criticó al Gobierno de la Ciudad por el anuncio de la medida. Y adelantó que realizarán medidas de fuerza en contra de su implementación a partir de marzo.

“Estábamos hablando de tratar con los organismos de derechos humanos y hacer alguna acción de protesta todos juntos”, señaló. Y agregó que el problema “es de toda la sociedad y de todos los usuarios”.
El jefe de Gobierno, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, anunció el martes que planea comprar pistolas eléctricas Taser, para usar en “lugares cerrados” como los subtes de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, en sintonía con los planes de la ministra de Seguridad, Patricia Bullrich, quien hace dos semanas anunció la compra de 300 pistolas Taser, para usar en trenes y aeropuertos.
Y su implementación sería luego del “plan de capacitación” de los policías de la Ciudad, quienes serán los encargados de utilizar las controvertidas armas eléctricas.
“Usar armas de fuego donde está lleno de gente es una locura, es delirante, sumado a las formas de la Policía”, señaló. Y detalló que los efectivos sólo “están parados en los andenes”.

“Hemos tenido muchos problemas con la actitud de las fuerzas de seguridad en el subte porteño. Y ahora con esto lo que van a generar es mayores niveles de violencia, habilitando a utilizar armas que son letales en medio de un ámbito cerrado, lleno de gente, donde no hay lugar para utilizarlas”, insistió Pianelli.
Y no descartó que la Policía utilice las armas en el marco de medidas de fuerza por parte de los delegados. “Hay una actitud de habilitar al uso de la fuerza de manera exagerada, que tiene que ver con su lógica de represión”, sentenció el delegado gremial.
Estas armas tienen un costo de alrededor de 3.000 dólares cada una. En Argentina, su utilización fue judicializada cuando Mauricio Macri era jefe de Gobierno y quiso comprarlas para la Policía Metropolitana, aunque esa intención fue bloqueada por la Justicia.
En 2016, la Corte Suprema dejó firme un fallo que avalaba su implementación como herramienta de las fuerzas de seguridad. Y ahora, iniciado el año electoral, el Gobierno anunció la compra de Taser junto a una batería de anuncios de seguridad como tomar muestras de ADN a delincuentes, la expulsión de extranjeros que delinquen, la baja de la edad de imputabilidad, entre otros.
