Durante los primeros días de junio comenzaron a colocarse en diferentes puntos de la Ciudad nuevas paradas inteligentes de colectivos. Por ahora son 125 puntos informativos en veredas con alta cantidad de ascensos de pasajeros, en una etapa posterior sumarán 450 carteles electrónicos.
En Caballito se colocó la primer parada inteligente en ambas esquinas de Acoyte y Rivadavia.
Hasta ahora son 26 las líneas de colectivos que cuentan con el Sistema de Arribo Predictivo y se prevé completar el total de la flota a fines de septiembre próximo. Es decir que los 10 mil micros de las 137 líneas que circulan en la ciudad, estarán equipadas con el sistema predictivo, que utiliza tecnología GPS para brindar en tiempo real la ubicación de las unidades de colectivos.
Se trata de una pequeña pantalla LED con un sensor de luminosidad para disminuir o aumentar el brillo de la pantalla, dependiendo del momento del día o de la luz que reciban.
“Estos nuevos puntos informativos de movilidad no sólo indican el tiempo de espera hasta que llegue el próximo colectivo, sino que próximamente permitirán que el usuario conozca todas las alternativas de movilidad dispuestas en la zona; como las bicicletas disponibles en las estaciones más cercanas de Ecobici o la frecuencia estimada en la línea de subte o tren más próxima. De esta manera, el vecino podrá decidir cuál es la mejor opción para llegar a su destino y apostar a nuevas formas para moverse por la Ciudad”, explicó Juan José Mendez, Secretario de Transporte de la Ciudad.
