(CABA) El jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, inauguró un nuevo período de sesiones ordinarias en la Legislatura de la Ciudad, y habló de las obras en el área metropolitana y puso énfasis en la educación y en la seguridad.
Rodríguez Larreta, que irá por un nuevo mandato en estas elecciones, remarcó que la educación es una “prioridad” y destacó que la próxima semana van a empezar las clases tras llegar a buen puerto las negociaciones con los gremios docentes.
Además, expresó que abrirán 30 de las 53 escuelas que se están construyendo en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, lo que genera 9000 vacantes nuevas.

Asimismo, el jefe de Gobierno porteño espera que la implementación de la Educación Sexual Integral (ESI) sea “más y de mejor calidad”, y manifestó que se trata de “un derecho”.
Por su parte, en materia de seguridad, expresó que los homicidios bajaron un 30 por ciento en los últimos 3 años, aunque reconoció que los ataques de motochorros subió un 3%. En ese sentido, Rodríguez Larreta también criticó a la Justicia.
“Acá quiero ser tajante: necesitamos que la Justicia nos acompañe. No puede ser que la Policía de la Ciudad detiene a un chorro que arrastró 10 metros a una mujer para robarle la cartera, y la Justicia lo libere por 700 pesos. Me indigna y me da mucha bronca. La puerta giratoria tiene que terminar”, dijo el funcionario, quien agregó que “cada vez hay más policías en las calles”.

Además, aseguró que el 85% de las personas utiliza el transporte público y afirmó que “en hora pico se viaja mejor”. Y prometió que implementarán el sistema predictivo para saber “cuándo viene el próximo colectivo”.
También ponderó el trabajo realizado en su gestión con respecto a la inversión en las ciclovías. “Todas las ciudades del mundo están promoviendo el uso de bicicletas”, dijo.
Según el secretario general de la Unión Tranviarios Automotor, Roberto Fernández, gremio que representa a los choferes de corta, media y larga distancia a lo largo y a lo ancho del país, en enero cayó un 10% anual la cantidad de pasajeros que viajan en colectivos urbanos en la zona metropolitana de Buenos Aires.
El miércoles, en un acto con vecinos y funcionarios dónde analizó el grado de concreción de los 54 compromisos asumidos al inicio de su gestión, con casi el 80% del mandato cumplido, el avance de estos compromisos es del 83%, según las estimaciones del Ejecutivo. NR
