(CABA) Este jueves y sábado de Semana Santa, el Banco de sangre del Hospital Garrahan abrirá sus puertas para que los vecinos puedan donar sangre que ayudará a niñas y niños de todo el país que la necesitan para sus tratamientos.
El Hospital Garrahan necesita 65 donantes diarios para garantizar los componentes sanguíneos a todos los pacientes. Durante los feriados y los fines de semana largos es más difícil garantizar un stock sostenido de sangre.
Por eso, invitan a quienes quieran sumarse como donantes voluntarios a sacar turno en www.garrahan.gov.ar/donosangre

El Banco de Sangre, que abrirá dichos días de 7 a 12 horas, está ubicado en la calle 15 de noviembre de 1889 Nº 2151 (CABA).
Cabe destacar que todo el proceso de donación dura aproximadamente 60 minutos.
Para donar es necesario pesar más de 50 kilos, tener entre 18 y 65 años, gozar de buena salud, no haber padecido enfermedades infectocontagiosas ni estar en riesgo de adquirirlas. También es requisito no haber tenido relaciones sexuales de riesgo en el último año, no consumir drogas endovenosas y no haberse realizado, en el transcurso del último año, tatuajes o perforaciones ni cirugías.
