Ocurrió en el escenario del Teatro Mercedes Sosa en San Miguel de Tucumán. Allí, el popular cantante se encontraba en pleno show, cantando su tema “Sale el sol”, cuando de pronto cayó en una fosa desde arriba del escenario.

Denis debió ser trasladado de urgencia al hospital Ángel C. Padilla. Al momento de ser trasladado se encontraba inconsciente y su estado es delicado.
En distintas entrevistas televisivas, Olga Fernández, la directora del hospital, contó que Denis cayó desde una altura de tres metros. “Se le realizaron una tomografía y estudios de laboratorio. Llegó inconsciente y tiene hematomas cerebrales múltiples, con un importante edema”, informó. “Le están colocando un catéter para monitorear la presión intracerebral. Lo más preocupante es el edema. Hay que esperar 48 horas para ver su evolución, pero su estado es delicado”, indicó la profesional.
