(CABA) Un nuevo caso de violencia de género ocurrió este fin de semana en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Un hombre intentaba deshacerse de su mujer, cuando ambos cayeron en el Riachuelo, a la altura del barrio porteño de Nueva Pompeya.

Ocurrió este domingo alrededor de las 19 horas en el cruce de la calle 27 de febrero con la calle Pergamino. De acuerdo al relato de algunos testigos, la pareja iba discutiendo y el hombre quiso deshacerse de la mujer cuando perdió el control del auto y ambos cayeron al Riachuelo.
Desesperados, en medio de golpes, gritos y llantos, comenzaron a pedir auxilio. Inmediatamente varios vecinos dieron aviso al 911, pero momentos después vieron como la pareja se hundía y desaparecía en el medio del agua. Momentos después llegó la Policía de la Ciudad y empezó un operativo en conjunto con la Policía de la Provincia.

A la pareja la buscaban del lado de Capital Federal, pero también del lado de Provincia, sobre la calle Carlos Pellegrini entre las calles Warnes y Pedraza, en el partido de Lanús. Al operativo de las Policías se sumó la Prefectura. Finalmente, alrededor de las 9 de la noche encontraron el cuerpo sin vida de la mujer mientras que el de su pareja fue hallado esta madrugada.
“Los dos murieron ahogados, según nos contaron quienes presenciaron ese momento. Fue tremendo ver lo que ocurrió, no se pudo hacer nada para salvarles la vida”, declaró un testigo al diario Crónica. NR
