No solo a aquellos que han enviado cadenas de mensajes o spam a los diversos grupos de personas que tienen como contactos a través de WhatsApp o la versión para empresas, WhatsApp Business. La medida será para todos, sin restricciones.
En la página web de la compañía se señala que bloqueará las cuentas y demandará legalmente a aquellas personas que, por alguna razón, también mandaron noticias falsas y que generaron ciertos actos en la población como es el caso de linchamientos.
“Tomaremos medidas legales contra las empresas de las que únicamente contemos con evidencias de abuso obtenidas fuera de la plataforma si las prácticas de abuso continúan después del 7 de diciembre de 2019 o si se vincula a esas empresas a evidencias de abuso obtenidas directamente en la plataforma antes de que se cumpla ese plazo”, indicó WhatsApp.

También será afectados usuarios de WhatsApp que “promuevan o fomenten” conductas ilegales o inadecuadas como la “promoción de actos violentos”, el envío de “comunicaciones ilegales” o la perpetuación de conductas “ofensivas desde el punto de vista racial o étnico”.
