Dos hermanos de 2 y 7 años murieron y sus padres quedaron internados en grave estado tras un incendio ocurrido anoche en una vivienda en el departamento mendocino de Godoy Cruz.
El hecho ocurrió cerca de las 20 en una casa ubicada en calle Córdoba al 90 a media cuadra de la calle Colón de dicho departamento, cercano a la capital provincial, informaron fuentes del Ministerio de Seguridad.
Los fallecidos son una nena y un varón de 2 y 7 años años, respectivamente, según la primera información policial. Sus padres Pablo Daniel, de 36 años, y María Lara, de 34, fueron trasladados al hospital Lagomaggiore en estado crítico.
El comisario departamental, Camilo Uvilla, dijo a medios locales que los primeros que llegaron al lugar fueron personal de la comisaría séptima y bomberos voluntarios, que lograron rescatar a las víctimas de la vivienda y explicó el hermano del propietario de la vivienda a los uniformados, momentos antes del incendio se escuchó una fuerte explosión.
Una de las hipótesis que trascendió en medios locales es que el siniestro podría haber ocurrido por la explosión de una salamandra ubicada en la puerta de ingreso de la propiedad lo que cercó a sus habitantes y les impidió que escaparan.
De acuerdo al testimonio del hermano de Pablo, la explosión previa al incendio se dio como consecuencia de su instalación casera realizada por el dueño de casa algún tiempo atrás, según informó el diario Los Andes.
La investigación del hecho quedó a cargo del fiscal Gustavo Pirrello.
