El mismo fue convocado por la Junta Comunal N°6 y estuvo a cargo del Programa de Salud Integral para ex Combatientes de Malvinas del Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Con la participación de la Banda de la Policía de la Ciudad a cargo del Maestro Jorge Zervin, tuvo lugar el izamiento del Pabellón Nacional mientras se entonaba Aurora, luego se interpretó el Himno Nacional y la Marcha de las Malvinas.
Estuvieron presentes alumnos y abanderados de diferentes colegios de la zona, representantes diversas instituciones del barrio, entre ellas el Museo de Esculturas Luis Perlotti, Rotary Club “La Veleta de Caballito”, el Hospital Durand, Hospital de Oncología María Curie, la Red de Cultura de Caballito, la Asociación La Cofradía de Caballito y la Asociación Amigos del Parque Centenario, entre otras.
