En lo primero que pensé fue en mi abuelo, fanático del jazz desde siempre, y como hubiera disfrutado de eso. Después pensé en cómo le contaría a mi mamá que había estado ahí y como eso le habría gustado a su papá.

Débora murió el 6 de febrero de 2018, a los 50 años, mientras le practicaban una endoscopía en el Sanatorio de la Trinidad de Palermo. Un año después, aún no hay fecha de inicio para el juicio oral, que tiene como acusados por “homicidio culposo” a la anestesista Nélida Puente y al endoscopista Ariel Bialolenkier, quienes estuvieron a cargo de la práctica médica y aguardan en libertad que avance el proceso judicial.
