«Se trata de una evolución en el cálculo de la tarifa. Ahora, el costo final del viaje tendrá en cuenta el impacto de la congestión en la calle. El valor del ticket dependerá del día y del horario en que se inicia el viaje», explicaron desde la Secretaría de Transporte.
En términos prácticos, la incorporación del nuevo índice significará un aumento en la tarifa que pagan los usuarios que reservan un viaje desde los nuevos tótems que fueron lanzados a mediados de marzo para evitar abusos de quienes cobraban los viajes a discreción.

El modelo propone que antes de tomar un taxi, el pasajero se dirija hasta una pantalla ubicada a metros de la parada, cargue su recorrido en el sistema y reciba dos tickets -uno para él y otro para el conductor- donde figura el valor exacto del viaje.
«Efectivamente, entendimos que había una diferencia entre la tarifa que surgía de la máquina y la del taxímetro, por eso decidimos incluir este nuevo índice de congestión», explicaron desde el gobierno porteño.
La fórmula para imprimir los tickets contempla la distancia del viaje, la bajada de bandera (10 fichas), el equipaje (5 fichas a partir del segundo bulto) y los peajes si los hubiere. Ahora, con la disposición publicada en el Boletín Oficial, habrá subas de hasta 29% en virtud del índice de congestión.
