En el marco del FIBA, el gran Festival Internacional Buenos Aires de teatro que en esta edición se renueva, uno de los grandes establecimientos escénicos de la ciudad, el Teatro Colón, también da su oferta cultural. Se trata de cuatro proyecciones en pantalla gigante. ¿Dónde? En la Plaza Vaticano.
Se trata de las óperas Aída y La Bohéme, el ballet Copppelia y el concierto de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires dirigido por el maestro Enrique Arturo Diemecke junto a la actuación del pianista Jorge Federico Osorio.

Con la idea de promover un acercamiento del fenómeno escénico a los distintos barrios y espacios de la ciudad, la cita es por cuatro: los próximos jueves 24, viernes 25, sábado 26 y domingo 27 de enero a las 20 horas se podrán disfrutar estas proyecciones de forma libre y gratuita.
Jueves 24 de enero: Aída. Este acontecimiento cultural del 2018 celebró los 110 años de la inauguración del actual edificio del Teatro Colón. La puesta en escena del recordado Roberto Oswald fue el marco de este gran espectáculo bajo la batuta del maestro Carlos Vieu y la reposición de Aníbal Lápiz.
Viernes 25 de enero: La Bohème. Una coproducción entre el Teatro Colón y la Ópera de Tenerife (España) que cuenta con la dirección musical del maestro Joseph Colaneri al frente de la Orquesta Estable del Teatro Colón y la dirección escénica de Stefano Trespidi.

Sábado 26 de enero: Coppelia. El talento del Ballet Estable del Teatro Colón se despliega con música del compositor francés Léo Delibes, coreografía de Enrique Martínez, reposición coreográfica de Dalal Achcar, diseño de escenografía y vestuario de José Varona y la dirección musical de Martin West al frente de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires.
Domingo 27 de enero: Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires. Es el tercer concierto que la Orquesta dio en la temporada 2018. Contó con la dirección del maestro Enrique Arturo Diemecke y la actuación del pianista Homero Francesch como solista. El programa musical incluye obras de Brahms y Strauss.
