(CABA) El jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, y el ministro de Transporte de la Nación, Guillermo Dietrich, inauguraron este lunes las tres nuevas estaciones de la línea E de subte, que comenzarán a funcionar a partir del mediodía.
La red agrega dos kilómetros a su recorrido y apunta a sumar 63.000 nuevos usuarios a los 90.000 que ya usan la línea para trasladarse todos los días.

Con una inversión de 3.714 millones, las obras incluyen la renovación de 20 km de vías y la creación del nuevo taller Lacarra, ubicado en la intersección de la colectora Dellepiane y Av. Perito Moreno.
«Es un orgullo que en nuestro país podamos hacer obras como esta y como otras que estamos realizando en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Esto es un trabajo en equipo, es la única manera de llegar a un resultado tan grande como este», dijo esta mañana Rodríguez Larreta durante el acto de inauguración.
Además, anunció que comenzaron a «avanzar» en los estudios para la creación de la nueva Línea F, que tendría una cabecera en Plaza Italia.
Las nuevas estaciones son Correo Central, Catalinas y Retiro -la nueva cabecera- aunque el gobierno de la ciudad ya lanzó una iniciativa para que los vecinos las rebautizen con nombres de mujeres argentinas.
Además, están decoradas con obras de tres artistas mujeres de proyección internacional: Marcela Cabutti en la Estación Correo Central; Gachi Hasper en Catalinas; y Marta Minujín en Retiro. Todas las obras fueron donadas al subterráneo.

La estación Catalinas está en Av. Leandro N. Alem y Av. Córdoba, y funcionará como un medio de acceso cercano a la terminal Buquebus.
La estación Correo Central, ubicada en Av. Leandro N. Alem y Corrientes, permitirá la combinación con la Línea B y con el Metrobus del Bajo, a la altura del CCK.
En tanto, la estación Retiro sumará una nueva combinación con la Línea C, los ferrocarriles Mitre, Belgrano Norte y San Martín y la Terminal de ómnibus de Retiro.
Según cálculos oficiales, el viaje entre las 18 estaciones con las que ahora cuenta la línea, desde Retiro hasta Plaza de los Virreyes, en Flores sur, demorará 32 minutos en total.
El Gobierno porteño asegura además que se reducirá la frecuencia entre trenes. Durante los primeros días de junio se estima que bajará de los cinco minutos actuales a cuatro y medio, mientras que el objetivo es llegar a tres minutos y medio entre formaciones para fin de año.
En una recorrida oficial previa a la inauguración, Rodríguez Larreta destacó que «estas obras se pueden hacer porque llevamos 11 años y medio de gestión» y resaltó la importancia de las «bases» que dejó en la ciudad Mauricio Macri durante sus dos períodos de gestión.
Si bien no hay proyectos en marcha para continuar expandiendo la red de subtes en la capital, si se encuentra en construcción el llamado «Nodo Obelisco» que mejorarán la accesibilidad y facilitarán la combinación de las líneas B, C y D.

Se trata de una de las obras de infraestructura más importantes de la Ciudad, que permitirá una circulación más fluida a los 310.000 pasajeros que confluyen a diario por debajo de la Avenida 9 de Julio.
Para facilitar la circulación de los pasajeros, actualmente se está construyendo otra entrada sobre la calle Sarmiento al 800 -entre Suipacha y Esmeralda- que tendrá empalmes con el andén Catedral de la línea D y el andén Constitución de la línea C.
Los espacios de combinación y evacuación también serán renovados. Y las personas con movilidad reducida, en tanto, podrán acceder a las estaciones de la línea C y D en la zona gracias a nuevas escaleras mecánicas y ascensores. NR
