Desde la seccional Haedo de la Unión Ferroviaria denuncian negligencias por parte de la empresa y las malas condiciones de trabajo. “No fue un accidente, fue una tragedia que tranquilamente se pudo haber evitado”, dijo el sindicalista Rubén ‘Pollo’ Sobrero, de la línea disidente de la Unión Ferroviaria. Y afirmó que, desde el último tiempo, los accidentes fueron en crecimiento: “Tenemos accidentes todos los días y se nota cada vez más la desidia a la que quedan enfrentados los trabajadores”.
“Hemos tenido compañeros que tienen problemas de tuberculosis debido al trabajo, incluso cuando era la época del hantavirus pedíamos lavandina pero ni eso nos daban a pesar de estar tan expuestos”, dijo un trabajador a El Destape.
