(CABA) El legislador porteño José Luis Acevedo, presentó su libro “Educación y Empleabilidad”, un relato histórico sobre la educación en nuestro país, proponiendo un cambio de cara al futuro en la relación entre educación y trabajo. El acto se realizó en un salón Perón repleto de público y contó con la presencia de la ministra de Educación de la Ciudad, Soledad Acuña, el vicejefe de Gobierno Diego Santilli, el ministro del Interior de la Nación Rogelio Frigerio, y la diputada nacional Paula Oliveto, entre otros.

“La idea que propongo en este libro es replantear esa alianza que tenemos en la actualidad entre trabajo y educación. El objetivo de este trabajo no sólo es discutir sobre el sistema educativo, sino de qué manera tejemos una nueva vinculación con la mejor herramienta para salir de la pobreza: el trabajo”, afirmó Acevedo durante el acto y explicó que se trata de un trabajo de “muchos años” y agradeció a su familia y a su equipo.
“Hoy en día las cifras ponen en evidencia la diferencia que hay entre oferta y demanda de educación escolar, en relación a la preparación del trabajo, replicando aún hoy el modelo tradicional de la escuela como paso previo a la universidad. Esto es lo que tenemos que rediscutir para lograr avanzar” agregó Acevedo.
Por su parte, la Ministra de Educación de la Ciudad aseguró que “siempre es bueno poner en agenda a la educación, pero nunca suficiente”. “Nuestra gestión focaliza en el talento de las personas para el desarrollo de la ciudad”, dijo y afirmó que “en la sociedad actual el conocimiento es fundamental y a la ciudad impulsa su desarrollo”.
Por su parte, el Vicejefe de Gobierno Diego Santilli confió que conoce a “José Luis (Acevedo) desde hace muchos años y siempre valoré la perseverancia que tiene en estos temas que son muy interesantes”.
