(CABA) La ministra de Seguridad, Patricia Bullrich, y el vicejefe de gobierno de la Ciudad, Diego Santilli, informaron detalles sobre la investigación que derivó en la detención de Ricardo Russo, un pediatra del Garrahan que está acusado de integrar una red internacional de pedofilia que producía y distribuía videos y fotos por internet.
«Si se llegó a la detención es porque la Justicia tiene evidencias claras de que el doctor Russo tiene una participación importante en esta red», informó la funcionaria del gabinete nacional.

Según reveló, el caso se activó en noviembre de 2018 a partir de una alerta de seguridad que surgió en los Estados Unidos. Desde ese momento se hizo un trabajo silencioso que incluyó el rastreo de direcciones IP que habían sido detectadas intercambiando material en la deep web (internet profunda).
En las imágenes analizadas, hay escenas de pedofilia aparentemente grabadas en hospitales o sanatorios, reveló Santilli. Sin embargo, la jueza y la fiscal que instruyen el caso están buscando elementos para poder probar fehacientemente dónde se grabaron.
«Todavía está vigente el secreto, tenemos que investigar, lo más importante es que esto no terminó aquí, hay mucha más información para analizar», aseguró el vicejefe de gobierno a cargo del ministerio de Seguridad de la Ciudad.
El funcionario porteño destacó, además, que el Garrahan es damnificado y hay que separar a la institución de los delitos que pudiere haber cometido el pediatra.

Como parte de ese trabajo, las autoridades deben determinar si una persona que fue detenida ayer en Río Tercero, Córdoba, tiene relación con esta red de pedofilia.
